Semicolon Heart Ring sz LARGE

3173phINyWL buynow3 This is an open band, Sterling silver ring with Semicolon symbol. Sizes S (5-5.5) M ( 6-6.5) L (7-7.5) band width 2.5 – 3mm. Symbol length 8-12mm. I make all my pieces using recycled and refined sterling silver. I also oxidize the rings for decorative purposes. Oxidation: A piece of blackened or oxidized silver is true sterling silver, but it’s surface has been intentionally darkened through by introducing it to a chemical process. This patina, a surface color that occurs when the silver is introduced to sulfides, is a sped up version of the natural tarnishing process. A layer of silver sulfide forms on the exterior of the metal giving it a blackened look. When sterling silver is dipped into special solution – black oxide film is formed, giving the metal a black/gray surface color. The entire piece is darkened, but then the raised parts are polished back to silver color, thereby leaving a nice contrast between the raised and lowered parts (crevices) of the piece of jewelry. Like other patinas, oxidized silver is just a surface treatment and does not change the internal color or properties of the metal. All of the products at my shop are cast in small batches (5-7 pieces) and individually hand finished. So they are one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. As a result products will have variations from one piece to the next, caused by variations in the sterling silver as well as the hand crafting. The images, descriptions and measurements you will find in the description have been used to best portray the products I sell. The pieces you receive are at least 99% similar to the pictures. The slight differences might show in the color of oxidation of imperfections of the castings. I like to celebrate the unique nature of each and every single product I sell. However if you do have any questions or queries regarding this please feel free to get in touch with the me directly

A semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. … Just as the mark is a sign for readers to pause before continuing a sentence, participants have embraced the symbol as a reminder that their story isn’t over yet—and that they should tell it Semicolon symbol often represents suicide prevention and encourages and empowers those living with depression. It represents a continuation and not an ending
